The Foundation

The Isabel e Balz Baechi Foundation is a private non-profit foundation established in Zurich in 2002 by Swiss artist Balz Baechi and his wife, Isabel Pardo de Leygonier.

The Foundation promotes and supports initiatives dedicated to the conservation and enhancement of works of historical, artistic and cultural significance, with particular attention to wall paintings, stucco and mosaics.

Active in Switzerland, Italy and internationally, it develops its projects in collaboration with institutions, conservator-restorers and cultural heritage specialists, fostering dialogue among the different areas of expertise involved.
